AI Round-up: 11 September 2026

Anthropic published a threat intelligence report describing malicious uses of Claude that it says it disrupted, including cyberattacks, influence operations and biological misuse. These historical misuse cases are separate from the cybersecurity evaluation incidents still drawing broadcast coverage. OpenAI launched ChatGPT for Financial Services, combining GPT-6 Astra with financial data, and released GPT-Live-1 in the API for voice agents that can listen and speak simultaneously.
