Anthropic's $65 billion revenue run rate
Anthropic's annualised revenue run rate reached $65 billion in July, Reuters and CNBC reported, extending the company's rapid commercial expansion; a music publisher also sued Anthropic and Suno over the alleged unauthorised use of songs for AI training.
Nvidia agreed to provide up to a $105 billion guarantee for OpenAI's Ohio data centre, while OpenAI published The Defender's Window, joined the PORTS-Pike infrastructure project and proposed new policy ideas for the Intelligence Age. Synchrony also brought ChatGPT into card shopping, and security discussion ranged from Replit's black-box penetration tests to malicious Codex adverts and agent-discovered Snowflake flaws.

- 06 At Databricks, thousands of engineers use coding agents every day, and that makes AI spend one of the fastest-growing line items in R&D. We found that one budget could not do two jobs well.
