Broadcom's $60 billion AI debt deal

Broadcom sought more than $60 billion in its latest AI debt deal, Reuters reported, as Brazil divided a new supercomputer push between Chinese and US suppliers and Nvidia denied that a fresh China-focused AI chip would ship by year-end. AI also continued to reshape India's IT services contracts, with clients demanding more output for less.

Anthropic reportedly planned a change to enterprise data retention, while OpenAI introduced AI Futures and GPT-Image-2 gained transparent-background generation in the API. ChatGPT Sites added collaborative editing, Microsoft described Copilot Cowork as an internal teammate, and Databricks detailed the multicloud data platform supporting ChatGPT at billion-user scale.
